Grupo Acerero seeks to mitigate the sustainability risks associated with our production processes through the guidelines and actions set forth in our sustainable procurement policy.
Grupo Acerero's commitments and actions toward a sustainable supply chain are:
- Assess, manage, and mitigate environmental and social risks in our supply chain.
- A commitment to the principles of ethical business practices and recognition of the dignity of others.
- Development of a risk management system for its supply chain, including the assessment of suppliers for environmental and social risks.
- The responsible sourcing of conflict minerals used in our products.

Following the launch of our Sustainable Sourcing Policy, we ask our suppliers to align with it; through this policy, we require them to meet high standards of quality, safety, and integrity, while respecting human rights, complying with legal regulations, and adhering to environmental policies.
In 2024, 82% of our supply came from domestic suppliers. Our focus and support are on the local economy, creating a more sustainable supply chain and promoting the circular economy.
