- Our own transportation division is established.

- We strengthen our vertical integration through the procurement of ferrous scrap.
- Operations begin at our Steelmaking Plant and Long Products Rolling Mill.

- As part of our market strategy, we merge with companies in the industry and diversify our product lines.
- GASA STEEL is incorporated as our international business arm in the United States.
2014 →
- Our state-of-the-art Long Products Rolling Mill begins operations.
2018 →
- Our laboratories obtain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the Mexican Accreditation Entity (ema).
- We become members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
- We obtained an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025, registered with the International EPD® System.
2019 →
- We increase the capacity of our melting furnace and build the Flat Products Rolling Mill, becoming the only company in Mexico to produce steel plate in sheet form.
- We receive the Socially Responsible Company (ESR) distinction for the first time.
2020 →
- We obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification through American Trust Registrar, covering our Long Products Rolling Mill, Steelmaking and Long Products Rolling Plant, and Wire Drawing Plant.
- We become members of CANACERO, the Mexican Iron and Steel Industry Chamber.
- We become members of COPARMEX, the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic.
- We become members of the World Steel Association.
2021 →
- We obtain product certification in accordance with NTC 2289:2020 through the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC).
2022 →
- We obtain certification to use the Made in Mexico emblem for our entire family of manufactured products through IMNC (Mexican Institute for Standardization and Certification, A.C.).
- We obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification for our Flat Products Rolling Mill.
- We obtain product certification in accordance with the NMX-B-506-CANACERO-2019 standard through NYCE (Standardization and Certification Institute).
- Our Metallurgical Laboratory obtains ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the Mexican Accreditation Entity (ema).
- We obtain ISO 9001:2015 recertification covering all operational and administrative processes.
2023 →
- We launch Project with a significant investment in the construction of a steelmaking plant for slab production.
- We receive the Caterpillar Supplier Excellence Recognition.
2024 →
- The Group completes its first public issuance of debt securities: “GASA-24.”
- We obtain the John Deere JDS-G223 Quality Systems Certification.
- The Universidad GASA facilities are officially inaugurated.
2025 →
- We receive the Scorecard Annual Business Review (ABR Trinity).
- We receive the new edition of the Made in Mexico emblem.
- We begin testing at our new Slab Steelmaking Plant, meeting the requirements for steel melted and poured in Mexico.
- UNIGASA’s first graduating class completes its program.
